The School

One building we don’t have in our display is a school. Looking for inspiration we found these great photos by Craig Bernadi of a school in Palm Springs. It has a wonderful concrete and steel structures we can recreate in lego. As with our Department Store we won’t be 100% faithful to the building, rather, we’ll take inspiration from the main features and adapt the build as we go.

Here’s our interpretation of the building for our school. Not having access to a “school” named brick we used the lettered 1 x1 bricks to make the school name.

The School is 36 studs wide, 22 studs deep and 15 bricks (and 6 plates) high. This prototype design has 395 bricks in total.
