Inspiration
We'll need to plan out the expansion to our display, this requires understanding how many buildings we need, what scale they need to be and where we can find yet more inspiration for the designs.
Ideas, ideas and more ideas
If we are going to expand the set, (with a view to displaying it some time in the future) we need to be mindful of a few things; packing, transport and scale as well as making sure our designs are faithful to the 1960s Lego era.
Inspiration strikes
Included in dozens of sets between the late 1950s and the 1970s the 'patterned' bricks were labelled with the names of shops, retail outlets and other 'city-themed' buildings. Perhaps these could be the inspiration we need for new building designs?
