The Swiss Chalet

Moving on to the small buildings to fill the Town Plan base plates we looked beyond the dates of the Town plan set to the late 1960 lego sets. While we are technically out of the era of design we had chosen we found this little set that might just fit in.

The antenna and the fences pieces are both late 1960s releases but the rest of the pieces in the set are fairly generic to the early/mid 1960s.

Let’s see what the final build looks like and we’ll see if it fits the era we’re aiming for.

We’re happy with this, we feel it fits well with the design of our 1960s Lego town and will compliment the original Town plan buildings.

The Swiss Chalet (including the base plates) is 20 studs wide, 10 studs deep and 10 bricks (and 3 plates/tiles) high. This prototype design has 84 bricks in total.
