The Hotdog Stand

Continuing on with the ‘named’ brick theme we’ve uncovered a “Würstchen” 1 x 8 brick, which is German for “Hotdog”.

We think maybe a Hotdog stand might be fun. We might base it on the small house design of one of our previous builds and use the gate/plate concept for some tables for outdoor eating.

We’ll use some of the design ideas from our Phase one builds and incorporate some of the named brick pieces. Might be nice to use some of the non-English bricks…

In addition we might try some blue sloped pieces. We don’t have any in our Town Plan set which indicates that it is most likely a UK/Australian version. Artwork from a 1960 European version of the #810 Town Plan set included blue roof tiles, instead of red tiles.
