So how do you build a Lego Town Plan city? (Part 2)

<< Back to The Planning

In Part one (The Planning) we looked at what to build for our Lego town. We continue our plans.

We need more inspiration, so we continue our search for marketing material from the era to complete the baseboard buildings. We found that in 1958 Lego released a number of stand-alone sets, along with the release of the first Town plan set #810, these were all designed to fit together to build a Lego town.

We found an additional 6 in total, making buildings for our display numbers 7 to 12:

7. The Church (#309)
8. The Small Store (#210-2)
9. The ESSO Filling Station (#310)
10. The Fire Station (#308)
11. VW Dealer (#307)
12. VW Garage (#306)

The Church:

Our to-build list so far:

  1. The White and Trans Apartments

  2. The Hotel

  3. The Tiny House

  4. The Tiny House (curved roof)

  5. The Cafe

  6. The Kiosk

  7. The Church (#309)

  8. The Small Store (#210-2)

  9. The ESSO Filling Station (#310)

  10. The Fire Station (#308)

  11. VW Dealer (#307)

  12. VW Garage (#306)

So we now have 12 buildings ready to build, but with 2 baseboards to fill we still need another 3 buildings...
