Melbourne Brickvention
Report from Brickvention, Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne
January 13th to 15th, 2017
After 18 months of research and building we were finally ready for Brickvention in Melbourne.
We packed up the car and headed from the Blue Mountains in New South Wales to stay with my brother in Melbourne while we attended the show.
Held at the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building on January 13th, 14th and 15th, we were part of a huge number of exhibitors displaying some pretty awesome Lego creations. We were in great Lego company!

Here's some pictures of our display. You may notice the perspex sheeting in the images? With so many small, valuable pieces on display we decided to invest in the perspex barrier. We didn't want to spend all our time supervising the display, It's not that we thought people would intentionally take the pieces, more that 'little fingers' would be attracted to the minifigs and the cars...
We had such a great weekend in Melbourne and thanks to the wonderful folks who organised the 2017 Brickvention.
So what's next? Maybe we should apply for the Sydney Brick Show in March...
